Arella founder Laura Capewell has long been passionate about the power of plant-based supplements. Her journey began with personal adversity and has since evolved into a mission to create effective, ethical wellness products that truly make a difference.
In 2012, aged 36, Laura was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. When conventional medication triggered side effects like weight gain and hair loss, she turned to natural alternatives—cutting out dairy and gluten from her diet. The results were transformative. Over a decade later, she remains in remission, and her experience deepened her belief in the healing potential of plant-based living.
Her path took another turn following an unexpected surgical hysterectomy that brought on early menopause at just 46 years old. The physical and emotional toll of this experience further fuelled her commitment to support others navigating similar health challenges—especially those seeking natural, effective solutions outside of traditional medicine.
Arella was born from this vision: to offer science-backed, plant-based supplements that support wellbeing from within, while minimising impact on the planet. From vegan collagen alternatives that rival animal-based supplements in efficacy to natural remedies designed to ease menopause symptoms, Arella reflects Laura’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and integrity.
As a mother of four daughters, Laura is continuously motivated to create products that are safe, trustworthy, and effective—for her family, and for others on a wellness journey of their own.
I set out to create a brand that reflects my deep belief in sustainability and caring for our planet—while also delivering proven, effective supplements that nourish the body from within and support longevity.
My goal has always been to simplify the journey to overall wellbeing. I truly hope you love these products as much as I do.
